Very nice smile - what size are the wheels on that?

Much better than the daisys! Why did you get rid of the roof, just out of interest!

The soft top was all ripped and leaking and didn't fold properly with the roll bar.

I got a hardtop the other day and was painting it over the weekend. I'm not overly bothered about driving with the roof down at the moment, and on really warm days I'll stick the hardtop in the garage and a tarp in the boot just incase :P

Plus I think they look awesome with no roof at all like above.

Congrats. Awesome bit of kit, isn't it? I'm planning on getting some lowering springs and a WIM alignment done at the end of the month, it is meant to completely transform these cars.

Riknos - it does wink.
I covered some 40k in my WIM spring'ed and geo'd 2.0 Sport and it was brilliant every step of the way.
Just recently moved on to a Mk3.5 which seems better out of the box but tempted with lowering it still!

^^^

It's as much for looks as anything else, they really do benefit from a ride hight drop.

Is it true that MK3s are jacked up to pass our pedestrian safety laws?

Its awesome, i will get it set up by WIM at some point, im not to worried about ride height, its got the bilstiens on it and the roads round here are shocking, so i will keep the comfort side for now smile

Also converted the front fogs to use them as DRL's, could do with being brighter though.
