I've had my R-Ltd fully resprayed (looks mint now!) and it now no longer has the door sticker - I forgot to mention this to the bodyshop. I don't think its a biggie. As long as it has all the right bits then its ok.
Oh and just to be a pedant on the point above, the RS limited sticker is on the nearside front wing, not the door. Mind, if I had an RS I'd be tempted to source another sticker for the offside, just for the looks.

Well I've gone and done it! I now own Chris71's old RS-LTD. Very pleased so far. When i got it home I noticed it was very tappety. I have now topped up with ol and it sounds sweet.
I have plans for new tyres, tracking, MPH speedo face, touch ups to part of the bodywork, a BBS centre cap, induction kit (how do these sound on a 1.8?) and a new CD player.
Took it out for a blast and excuse the cliche, but it handles like a go-cart. Like my old mini but quicker steering and obviously not FWD.
I have bought the car to learn RWD before moving onto something quicker of going down the forced induction route with the 5.
Good times, Matt.
