I'm still sad I've brought the wrong car.

I've been so happy with it for a year now, and I've suddenly woken up, removed those rose-tinted spectacles, and now feel nothing but utter dispair at my enormous mistake.

In fact, I feel so sad that I'm going to spend all tomorrow afternoon cleaning and washing it and give it a good old traditional, roof-down blatt to the PH Sunday Service*

* That's assuming my clutch holds out. I think the release bearing is on it's last legs, as it makes horrible screeching/whistling sounds when it's cold.

The MR2 is much closer to this however
It bloody well is not.

I did of course completely fall for the wrong trick at the start of this thread. I thought Mattikake was a disgruntled karter, not some delusional owner of a budget sportscar.

He's clearly never driven a proper 2-stroke racer at all.

And what kind of half-pint half-man can get in an MX5 anyway?
I can. In my case I'm a 6'1" half-pint half-man.

I can't.*
Fat bastard. I hope you never try an Elise, you'll never get out again! Mind you, an Elise is probably a girls car compared to an MR2 so you're never likely to make that mistake.

Sounds like a particularly bad case of testicular cancer.
Shame.

Apologies for feeding the troll again.

Fran,

You won't get any answers now, as 'appropriate action' has been taken to ensure no more troll-type posting on this thread wink

Bloke looks for MX-5, doesn't fit in, purchases second choice of sports car, convinces self that original choice was a shite car anyway, tries to force opinion on everyone else.

Isn't the post history feature great?

Trouble with the TVR is as follows:

1) It has two seats
2) It has suspension
3) The engine is in the front, not just to the right and back a bit of your pelvis
3) It has full bodywork
4) It doesn't have a pull start.
