FFS, I left my lights on this morning in the office car park - battery now too low to start the car. Now, I've done this once before with the sidelights on... but this morning I left the main beams on.

Yes, that's right. Barn doors UP, and I still didn't notice.

I'm all for weight saving but eliminating a warning buzzer for lights has got me in to trouble a couple of times leaving sidelights on.

But leaving the barn doors up is pretty absent minded!

Well, great news!

After the car just 'clicking' when I went out to it at 10.30am (it had been left with the lights on for over an hour and a half) - I went back out at 2pm. I tried my luck at turning it over and she lazily turned over once, twice, third time I floored the throttle and broooooom!



Saved me asking for an embarrassing jump start!

I'll have that fiver back as well

Most of my past cars have not allowed lights on without the ignition on. Mx5 is an odd one like that.
