Yes. Mine will see well in excess of 150mph but it's far from standard. At Colerne the Mk1 1.6 track car I have a share in touched 90+ at the end of the main straight/bend (I was taking that bend at 85mph smile)

What diff you running Lazza? I always thought that if I was going to keep mine for good, I'd have to bin the shorter final drive and try and get something that gave more relaxed cruising on the motorway. Say, 3500 rpm = 80mph or thereabouts (instead of 4k = 72mph).

I'd compensate for that by having gobs of power, naturally.

Not sure what the ratios are but it's a Mk2.5 Sport so has the 6-speed and Torsen dif and is geared to hit just over 160mph at the limiter in 6th. Ihave no idea if it can reach that though but I have seen 150mph and it was still pulling strongly. It takes a lot of power to pull from 150 to 160mph though.
