what are you doing with the bow ties?
Well, I've been looking at pics of the real Bumblebee, and basically the one in front is like it is now, bar one detail, I think... The sides of the "cross" are half red, half black, equalling out the width... so I might just ask them to still do that smile

LOL... Yeah, I'm a freak when it comes to details smile

IF it was possible, I'd even have the door handles done like the real Bumblebee, and have the gas cap relocated to the concept's place (thinking about that somehow).

OK, OK. I DO feel happy for you. Pictures and an update tomorrow please my friend.
Picking up the car, is just... well... you know what's going on. I know I have to pick it up, but it's not my number one priority now.

Next one looks a bit weird:

IN the trailer (after quite some ahem... reconstructing the trailer smile )

First kerb scrape in 27 days?
Hmm... I've got to get it road registered first. MoT said yesterday that it "can take up to three months to get the SVA-type approved."

Goal of course is not to have any kerb scrapes...

Took the car to the shop that will put on a full protective film yesterday.

Felt a bit gutted for the Citroën Berlingo owner that was taking a picture of it driving right behind me, and ended up in the armcoat doing so.

But a few miles later I was kind of pleased that (even keeping it under 4k rpm, as I only have 500 miles on it, and stick to my principle of running it in properly), I managed to keep up with a late model 911 Turbo smile (for as long as I accelerated at least)

First time I get the thumbs up from a Porker LOL biggrin

That was me in the Turbo Pascal!

I had spent the weekend at the 'Ring and was heading back for my overnight stay in Brugge. Your car sounded really nice and looked great, try and keep up next time! biggrin
Well, two reasons I stayed at 120 km/h at first...

1. Only 500 miles on it, and not allowed to go over 4k rpm. (I did sign you the third time or so that I only had 500 on it)

2. the black Volvo XC90 that followed me...

I'd love to give you a proper run for the money when it's fully run in smile

BTW: the Turbo looked nice too...

I saw a similar one at the 'ring last weekend, didn't see which country it was from though.
There are only 5 of them out there in this colour....

2 in US, 3 in Europe (two in Germany and me).

I've been following this thread from the outset,

At first I was like...

"Man what a waste of money"

then I was like...

"If nothing else he's dedicated and loves cars, I can respect that"

now I'm like...

"Good lad, that is a lovely car that looks brilliant!"
Thank you smile
