Very sorry; just offering an opinion that I happen to agree with.

Alright then, more relevant; it's not American, it's built in Germany and based on a Mercedes, sharing 80% of it's components. Is that stupid and pointless?
But surely these facts make it a good car?
Oh well of course. rolleyes

There's just none around Yorkshire though, when they came out I'd see them quite often but I can't remember when I last did now, same story with those 300C's have gone the way of the Allegro.

Must be a secret cult somewhere that just drives them about away from prying eyes.
Nope drive my 300C everyday and love it
I have seen the new 300Cs out lately. Nice facelift and 30MPGs. smile

Wouldnt want one personally. Yank interior, badermatic and not that pretty or quick.

That said, if i was offered one super cheap that might be different.

If you don't like the answers, don't ask the question.

A friend of mine is selling her 3.2 Auto & I cannot get over the VFM compared to say a TT - I know it is quirky, but everyone who sees it & understands it has a Merc engine with that sort of grunt realises how much 'poke for your pound' you get. There arent many '04 GTs/coupes for circa £4k in the market place with average mileage. They do though like to visit the petrol pump if driven properly wink

Thank god for that. Someone who buys a car for himself, for what purpose he wants it for and who doesn't say "Baaa" when others suggest something more commonplace.
Props to you. clap

Cheers guys. Only time will tell if I enjoy it or not! I certainly won't get put off by some of the negative comments, I have an itch & it's about to be scratched. biggrin

Well after 5 hours of ownership I have to say that I am very impressed! The noise is so addictive & the performance is superb & up there with alot of others. It's actually really comfortable & me & miss boobles love it so far. undoubtedly an underated car with great potential.
