What you done to your yank today?
Discussion
Even though I've been driving my Camaro all through winter when it's been dry, today I set about giving it its first proper clean and wax. Sadly the paint isn't doing so well, very typically peeling both lacquer and paint on the rear and nose cone.
Still took it out for a long drive, roof off. Met up with my mate who's just picked up his new XF...

I've decided to replace the engine in my Chevy truck rather than spend roughlyy the same having it rebuilt, so after ordering everything I need including the engine on Friday night, I gave the old engine a good send off yesterday after jet washing the pickup bed down...
(Crap picture as it's a blown up snap shot from our CCTV in direct sunlight!)

HD Adam - are you doing the dial-in day next weekend?
No mate, can't make next weekend.I will be at the RWYB on April 20th (weather permitting of course) which the Saturday of the Ford RS weekend.
First proper run out with the rebuilt gearbox and new blower so hopefully the stock block will hold together
If that goes well and I get things like the timing. fuel and shift points dialed in, it's onwards and upwards for Gary's Picnic.

Fair play, What were you running before the new blower? I will be at the RWYB on April 20th (weather permitting of course) which the Saturday of the Ford RS weekend.

The old one I had the standard M112 on there which I'd ported myself but now have a Magnum Powers.
The MP uses the Eaton rotors but has a longer case which cleans up the air inlet considerably.
With a bit of luck, It might go faster
This week I have moved the header tank, fitted a new windscreen washer setup, changed the front brake pads, polished the wheels and refitted the rocker covers.
I have also changed the inlet manifold bolts for stainless cap head bolts, fitted a phenolithic carb spacer and then polished the car.
Think that will do, weather permitting we will have a play at Shakey tomorrow.

Sure it will - nothing special done - get yourself a Diablo Trinity and tune from Johan over on cherokeesrt8.com and you'll be good to go
Couldn't find Johan but did find the thread about the tuner, and the manufacturer's website but no prices.Amazon.com: $599 + inevitable HMRC raping on delivery.
Not worth it for an extra 25 bhp for me personally.
