Just a heads up for people thinking of attending the Good Friday Wheels Day, American and custom car show.

The Venue this year is Dunsfold Aerodrome, Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh, Surrey GU6 8TB

Not Rushmore arena!

Will it be a mega early start so as to get in, remember the alder shot grid lock days, or do they have more space? And is it hard standing, especially with this weather!

Any one meeting up en route, we will be coming from bucks

Shame they moved it as I could walk to the Rushmoor Arena and avoid the queues.

That would be great, just getting back into it after a couple of years without a car so sounds good, will details be posted nearer the time?

Thought I had upset some one then I opened the link and it's all clear, thanks for the heads up, we would have brought ours and after couple of hours journey would have been gutted to get turned away, hope that's clearly advertised else where

I always liked the old Brooklands venue but then Mercedes took over the place. Rushmoore was OK but if the weather got bad it made getting out of the bowl interesting! It was also a nightmare getting through Aldershot.
Dunsfold is OK but as others have said its very exposed being an Airfield.

Just got to hope for sunny calm weather smile

To be honest, I'd quite like the old Slyfield Industrial Estate venue because it would be free and there wouldn't be enough room for the likes of the Corsa Owners' Club. You could also get some cruisin' in.

my blue chevelle and my mates black olds are leaving Basildon at about 08.30, we might pop into Boxhill for a quick coffee if its not too far out of our way and we get over the bridge quickly.
