I fancy some replacement tail and front lights for my 2005 F150 to further 'black' it out.

I'm thinking something like these (http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEWEST-Halo-Tube-LED-Headlight-Tail-Lights-Lamp-DRL-SMD-04-05-06-07-08-FORD-F150-/191184094185?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2004%7CModel%3AF-150&hash=item2c8375c3e9&vxp=mtr"). However, they seem too cheap!

Are they going to be st and not give out sufficient light? And could I risk any problems on the next MOT?

You still need to make sure they're UK compliant.

They will be cheap items. I had aftermarket halo/projector headlights in my '03 Mustang. Much better light but a poor quality unit.

I've also had trucks with those rear lights. No problem for the MOT provided the basics are met.

Other than rewiring the indicator to flash amber, what else do I need to check for UK compliance? Do US parts ever get 'E' marked? Or is that just an EU code?
