The F150's MOT is expiring soon and Halfords (who have had a 50% off offer for the past couple of years) cannot fit it in their pits. Can anyone recommend a test centre in Surrey who can MOT this for me? Will the local council stations take them and will they be more fussy/strict on the rules?

Not Surrey but I take mine to my local Ford dealer because they have ramps big enough to take a big Transit and can do Class 7 MOT's.

Don't worry about the test. It's either pass or fail. If it fails, you need to get those bits fixed.
What they need to know (like flat beam headlights) is in the MOT manual.

You need to find a place that does Vans, My LWB Van is currently in for an MOT in Sutton.

I've only just seen this reply but that's where I ended up going. They were recommended by Halfords of all places! Really nice family business by the looks of things.
