So far I've had a Hemi quad cab followed by an SRT10 a 6.7 Cummins HD the the 6.7 Cummins HD in the latest shape and now I'm just waiting to take delivery of a new Cummins 2500 6.7 Cummins

I cannot wait.

So you can see I rate the HD Diesel as THE one to have.....an awesome machine...nothing comes close

My last one here

Thought I had seen that picture before, and the GT. I went on the supercar sunday run earlier in the year. Came along with Rob in his GT3. I had the black Z06.

I concur with Stu R

The quality in the Ram has vastly improved in recent years but has always been better than the equivalent Ford.

The latest one Laramie Limited is door to door leather with Piano wood etc....Lovely place to be

I always make the Mistake of selling my Rams and always regret it.....This one is staying, I cannot be without one

Yeah. Still going. Just had the interior done by Hydro graffix in Maidstone. I think Colin with the SL 55 and Black has used them.

I think dodge is catching up with ford on the interior and rfinement the Cummins is a very safe choice the same thing that powers your local bin wagon reliable as a hammer and crude sounding against the Isuzu v8 in the Chevy and the international and ford scorpion v8s in the ford all good with certain issues like the first 6.0 fords but the way we use them here in the UK as hobby cars and don't tow huge gooseneck trailers thousands of miles a week like our american
Cousin's do problems are rare..

I know it's outside of your requirements for a RAM truck but I took delivery of my '14 RAM Sport with Hemi a month ago and already it has exceeded my original expectations. Even with a 'tight' engine still I am getting about 21 mpg (US) average.

The Hemi uses the MDS system which deactivates 4 of the cylinders when the throttle position is less than 25% thus increasing mpg. The other thing to consider is the changeover to an 8 speed auto box in 2013. A 2010 unit will only have the 6 speed.

As for interior, personal choice but I think the latest generation interior of the RAM far outshines the equivalent Chev and Ford.

I picked up the Ram last week and have been using it daily since. Fuel on the motorway doesn't seem too bad; It cost me about £60 to drive the 220 miles back from Scotland which I think is around 20mpg if I've done my maths right.

It's obviously a big beast but it's surprisingly easy to drive. I've not had to adjust my driving that much to suit the size or LHD and it never feels too big, despite looking huge on the drive. TBH I think it's the height of the hood and the truck generally that makes them look big because it's easy to manoeuvre. Reversing is easy because you can see the back of the bed, but I'm going to fit some parking sensors just so I can park it up against my garage door quickly. Otherwise I probably wouldn't bother.

It handles pretty well for a big truck too, not half as boat like as I thought it would be. It is so much nicer to drive than my mates Navara was and very comfortable for wafting around in. The Hemi goes well when you kick down and it sounds lovely with Flowmasters on. The kids love it but my wife hasn't made much comment yet!

Thanks guys for the last few postings, all very useful stuff to know.

As for Benny.c, I am envious but thrilled you are loving the motor, I am so looking for to the BIG day next year with the added bonus, my missus has already bought into the idea... The last time I had to turn on the charm when I particularly wanted a car was that I sold it to her that we would start wedding hires; the only wedding it saw in 3 years was our own (slight twist in truth I think its called) smokin
