Picked up my first Yank yesterday, 1972 Dodge Demon. smile

If I hadn't already got mine I would have been all over that, Dave Madders is a top bloke at finding such gems.

wow - an interesting choice! Tell us more, and more pix please
The choice was made as I wanted an American car but something different to the usual Mustang, Corvette etc. Also really, really fancied a Mopar. smile

Until now the car had lived in California all its life, original 318 V8, never been welded and in beautiful condition. Not a lot else to say as it's not been with me for five minutes and truth be told we drove it home and took it out on Monday, washed it and put it into the garage. There's very, very few cars I won't used everyday but this one is in too good condition to get wrecked by the salt on the roads.

Anyway some more pics!

What a lovely, honest and unmolested car. Under the radar for so many. Just wonderful to see, particularly away from it's natural habitat. Congratulations - just lovely.

Thank you. biggrin

I really wanted something a bit under the radar, not something that if you were to say "I've bought an American car" the other person would guess straight away. smile The nice thing about the Demon is that it's perfect for UK roads, fits in my garage (standard single), UK sized parking spaces and is about the same length / width as my XJ6.

Your wish is my command. I actually did drive the green one to work as long as it was dry. Fun! Cheers, Thomas
