Type Approval/ Certificate of Conformity for 2006 Hummer

Hi guys, I've imported a few classics in the past however have recently imported a 2006 Hummer H3, I don't really want to go down the IVA inspection due to time, has anyone successfully sent a Certificate of Conformity to DVLA in place of the IVA test? If so how would I go about obtaining this?
