With good weather forecast for this weekend, how about an impromptu (and last minute) end-of-season gathering this Saturday (26th September) at the revitalised Chelsea Cruise? Meet in the Battersea Park north car park from 19:00 - 21:00. Anyone interested?
Directions: Approaching from north of the river:
Kings road (A3217) or Sloane St (A3216) to Sloane Square
Exit South off Sloane Square to Lower Sloane St.
Straight on to Chelsea Bridge Road
Over Chelsea Bridge
Immediate right turn , after Chelsea Bridge, through Battersea Park gates onto Carriage Drive North - CAUTION: Speed Bumps!
(if you miss this turn, double back at Queen's Circle roundabout further down Queenstown Rd. )
Turn right into Car Park overlooking the river / Chelsea Reach
Cheesy chips from the burger van on Chelsea Bridge - you know you shouldn't!
Of course, for those looking for an earlier start and run down to Chelsea, there is the All American Cruise-in at The Ace Cafe gathering from 1600.
