I'd give them a call. When I spoke to Dave at 15:45ish, he said all the emails had been sent out, so if you haven't received it, there's a good chance you've secured a car. They've supposedly got a spreadsheet of all the 'orders' with a yes or no against them that the managers are sifting through.

For the people who have got a cancellation email will the finance company remove the credit check from your file bearing in mind the deal cannot be done now?
Ive asked them via email if they will pay compensation for the unnecessary credit check now on my file, and interest on the deposit they've had for a few days, and compensation for wasting my time.Stevearmstrong said:

They could give me any valid reasons why people who ordered after me had still got the deal. We need to post the times that we paid the deposits and send a letter to the managing director. Also what deal you had agreed so we can see if it is the higher spec/mileage ones that have gone through.

It didn't feel right after they sent an email saying they couldn't guarantee a colour and other updates giving less clarity each time.
I also note that they really did take the deposit from my credit card - the monthly credit card statement says I owe £500 because of Mangoletsi's charge so I am out of pocket for a month.
The deal did seem to be too good to be true. Very disappointed. The MD who sent the email knew that additional orders were being taken as I webchatted with him on Sunday.
