2006 Grand Cherokee towbar electrics?

I've just fitted a pretty standard towbar to my Grand Cherokee and am now trying to figure out the electrics. The kit came with a socket and a little box (audible alarm?) that wires into the existing cabling (somewhere unspecified) but in the process of fitting the towbar I spotted a fairly large (maybe 3" x 1") electrical socket tucked under the bumber and wondered if this is a plug and play towbar socket? It looks to be in the perfect place but after a bit of a google I can't seem to find anything thats suitable?

Can I use this to hard wire in socket or buy a kit to use it?
