In the coming year , I'm giving serious consideration to a car shopping trip in the US. As part of my initial groundwork, I'm trying to ascertain a number of things.

Firstly, can anyone give me a rough guide as to shipping costs for an avarage sized vehicle from the US to the UK?

Secondly Can anyone point me to a one stop site that basically explains the riga marole involved Stateside in ex[porting a car from the country.

Thirdly, of course a site which explains the palarva involved when the vehicle actually arrives here? Taxes, registation, etc etc.

Basically, this little idea of mine is totally new ground to me , so I imagine I have a lot to learn

Cheers.

I imported my Mustang myself and to start with was worried about all the papework etc but it really was a simple process and this was 10 years ago and I don't think anything has changed.
