Ford F700 V8 Diesel 1967

So I am just in the process of buying a truck, well lorry... Ford F700 1967 V8 international diesel. Kind of a big boys toy! It had a box body on the back but that has been removed so I am thinking of making it into a flatbed/pickup.

I haven't had an American vehicle before and need to know where I can get info on spares and any ideas for what type of body to build. Google just shows steel tipper bodies on a couple of pics but I thought a nice wooden flatbed would be in keeping with the era of the truck....

It's a bit of a random purchase but it belonged to a family member and has been dry stored for many years but is still in amazing condition

Any help or info would be great

Is it already registered here? You might have issues if it isn't.

Yeah, it is all registered and on the road, it has been going to a show once a year

I'd turn it into a crewcab & make it into a hauler for my 5th wheel, if you Google custom F700 it might give you some ideas. Good luck & some pics would be nice.

Here you go, finally got it back in the workshop, I'm excited to get working on it but still cannot decide what to make it into!

I really like that, lots of potential. If you really can't decide, just drop it off to me & I'll turn it into a proper hauler, but you won't be getting it back lol!
