No chance its right, mine has no mention of being SRT10 Viper or ACR, Just Dodge(USA) with no model info filled out despite it all being put on the application form.

Same here, despite me handing over all papers in person and trying to register the car correctly, mine too just says Import, Dodge USA! No mention of the word Viper! Fun when it comes to MOT time

I highly doubt that number to be accurate, as we know it's a small uk viper community. Most cars are known given a few owners don't come on any forums or attend regular car events, but they don't exactly blend in so easy for us to spot in the event that we would pass by one another (rare unless a car show).

After a little playing around, it appears all 'Vipers' (RT10 / GTS) appear to be listed under Chrysler, whereas SRT10's are listed under Dodge.

Going back to the Dodge search, if you click on SRT10 you get further info on SORN'd vehicles, so there are 48 'taxed' cars in Q2 of 2016 plus another 8 on SORN, making a total of 56. Does this include SRT10 pick-ups though, I guess we'll never know.

All the official Chrysler imports were GTS RT10, my 97 blue and white GTS certainly was.

So was the Viper GTS officially a Chrysler or a Dodge product in the US? Because my VIN starts '1C' which represents Chrysler, Dodge would start with '1B'.

No, they said Dodge on the rear LHs and Viper GTS on the RHs

Unless they were EU imports when they had Chrysler on the rear bumper where your 1B Dodge is and a 1C Vin number.

Well I was looking at some pics of Nadines and Bjorns Vipers and they said Dodge on the rear bumper!

Mine has Chrysler on the bumper as its one of the UK ones. Some owners have objected to this and replaced it with 'Dodge'.
