How long has Yank motor's been on here?
Due to not having had my mid life crisis yet  , rarely look at Corvette and Mustang forums.....

PetrolTed just opened it yesterday.
Remember if you buy a pre 1980s Corvette you will have to grow a lot of chest hair, wear your shirt un-buttoned to your navel and sport a large gold chain around your neck.......
Was it announced anywhere ? I rarely look at the full list of headings , just 'my' shortlist.
Me, I've got a 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II convertible ,440 6-pac .

Bought 3 copies yesterday, 1 for me, 1 for the previous owner & 1 for my Nan (kinda mothers day present!) I reckon the shop keeper thought I was crazy!
Only just seen this place has opened up
Here's my Chevelle 454 SS
Well, mine only for a few more weeks as I'm coming back to Britain and have decided against bringing it with me, so it's going to it's new owner in three weeks.
At least the weather has cheered up sufficiently that I can dust it off and give it plenty of action whilst I still can It is without doubt the best car I have ever owned and I'll never forget the experience of rumbling around in

Fantastic car. Shame you're not bringing it to the UK.
Thanks, nice 'Stang you have there too
It is a bloody shame, but I've no garage to keep it in at the moment back in the UK and other factors mean that I'm just not confident of being able to maintain it in the condition it's in currently - it would break my heart to see it go downhill. It's going to a real enthusiast who knows what they are doing and will maintain it properly to be a regular weekend (or even daily) driver, not just some garage queen. I'll be going back to the States regularly anyway and he's promised me first dibs on a weekend loan

Blimey! Apart from the colour, mine looks like that (if you squint from a 100 yards in thick fog!)
Very, very nice
much appreciated,
forgot to mention I run a Ford F150 Lightning pick up as a daily driver. Excellent bit of kit and great for upsetting those Subaru boys on the odd occasion

Thought I'd say hello and add a post to the new forum. Here's a pic of my daily run-about '53 Chevy truck and my '73 Australian Ford Fairlane that I've just sold today.
Hi, cool truck - been thinking about buying a 50's Chevy pickup for a while now. Any advice/things to look out for? The one on ebay at the moment looks lovely but I don't want a big block. (Sorry for the thread hijack)
