Just bought a Grand Voyager 3.3 '05 reg XS model to ferry the clan around in.
The flexibility and luxury are unbeatable with all the electric goodies....

However I bought in the knowledge that the multi DVD player in the front console was kaput and would need replaced or repaired.....now looking like replaced. I will probably need the wireless headsets as well, the remote is present thankfully.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement IN-Dash DVD unit, nobody seems to offer new spares in UK from my searching and Mopar US and others won't deliver to UK?

Breakers have come back to me at around £175 but it sounds like a different model and no guarantees it'll work?

Any assistance greatly appreciated

Well when my missus had one, we got replacement headsets from Ebay fairly cheaply which was much better than from the Stealership.
Some here on the good old Bay with 1 day to go

I guess the main reason you havent had replies is that £175 seems to be the going rate on Ebay from breakers etc.

Sorry that doesnt appear to help though

Does it need to be an in dash player you get?

I picked up my Voyager at auction and the overhead console containing the player and the monitor was missing so i bought one of these.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/9-Overhead-LCD-Car-Monitor-F...

The player comes with wireless headphones etc and works fine despite the cheap price. I fitted a second monitor to my at the back as well only because i had it lying around.

Probably a lot cheaper than finding a Chrysler in dash one and easy to fit.

Many thanks for the replies. The problem I have is that I have the roof rail system
So I'd have to remove this? or the easier option was to at a new in dash player.

Take the point re oem, so have decided not going down that route as apparently the units are made from swiss cheese and the components involved inside the multi disk unit have the durability of a boiled egg.

Any recommendations on a slim (1 din? or 1/2 din?) DVD player?
I can hook this into the existing screen.

Cheers,
