I have a Sinn 856 UTC which either has the same case or one very, very similar. I do love the aesthetics of this type of watch.

Me too. It's funny but until I got in to watches properly I'd never even considered the pilot style. It was always divers and "sports" chronos for me.

and not bad on a NATO either.

I had to be fast to get that.
I think all the bits replaced at service are included.

Cool. I read the original thread when the seller purchased it and it looked even better with the two register dial. Not that it looks bad now mind! I'd love to see a wrist shot when you get it. I've always liked the look of them but have never taken the plunge thinking they may wear a little tall.

Wonderful

These look good on a 'Tudor Heritage' NATO (if you like NATOs that is).

I'm having a replica Corfam rally strap with Orange stitching made to complement mine!

I really think you ought to let others have a go every now and then... wink

That does look rather nice though - is it particularly rare ?

Actually, on reflection, I think he may be doing some sort of charitable work - selflessly saving others from getting into trouble with their OHs by buying the watches before they can wink

Lovely watch. Congratulations. The envy is strong smile

Does the case have a bead-blasted type of finish ?

Thanks Ed,
would be great to see a photo of your watch with the new strap when it arrives.
