Does the case have a bead-blasted type of finish ?

Absolute grail on the way
Finally tracked one of these down thanks to a heads up from a fellow TZ-UK member.
It's not mint, but it's not at all bad.
Really, really looking forward to this landing from Italy next week.
Ok, muppet question time, but...Finally tracked one of these down thanks to a heads up from a fellow TZ-UK member.

What makes that your absolute grail watch ?
I love the look of it, but I'm assuming there's a particular rarity to it ??

Firstly I love Autavias especially the later models. This will make 4 in my current collection & I've had 3 others in the past, but I really do love the look of this model and have lusted after one for some time. I've handled the Black & Pewter PVD versions, but only seen the Olive Green in pictures.What makes that your absolute grail watch ?

Secondly they are very rare. This is just about the only one I've seen for sale in years. Collectors just seem to keep these. The one owner I know, has been stubbornly refusing to sell his to me for years.

Thanks Andy.
Given the rarity of some of your other watches that must be rocking-horse droppings rare !
I have always had a 'thing' for Heuer watches - I can only blame seeing 'Le Mans' many, many years ago when I were a lad... - hence why I'm always interested / a little jealous (in a nice way !) of your recent acquisitions.
Oh, and I've already told SWMBO I would like one, from 1969, for my next significant birthday /wishful thinking

One of these... Was looking for a auto chrono on a non-bracelet strap and this seems to tick the boxes! Rather looking forward to receiving...

Here's my pics the just arrived Sinn Spacelab D1 140/2
Thanks to the previous owner for sending this previously quite beaten up watch to Sinn where they
1) refurbished and re-blasted the case;
2) completely overhauled the movement (new mainspring, various wheels, all the moving Delrin parts replaced etc);
3) fitted a new sapphire crystal;
4) replaced all crowns, pushers and gaskets;
5) replaced the hands as the lume was flaking;
6) replaced the internal bezel as the print was coming off;
7) fitted a new 142 dial as the lume was flaking (and also put a new 24-hour subdial hand on); and
8) supplied a new steel bracelet.
Nice to have a Lemania 5100 back in the collection - It's certainly my favourite chrono movement.
