Waiting for this to arrive from a PHer. (maker's pic)
Isn't waiting just 'king crap?
First of all the banks fumbled my payment.
Seller posts it immediately (thank you!)
So I go the the office this morning, collect the card that's been pushed through the door so that I can re-schedule delivery for working hours. (I'm too late to collect it from the sorting office on a Saturday) - Only to find that the Royal Mail redelivery site is not working until Sunday morning, by which time I expect they'll only be able to schedule it for Tuesday!! banghead

Oh yes; you will have probably guessed that it's an 'underground upgrade' to the watch drawer!

terrible pictures but my incoming is the 16610 in the top right of the box, 1995 vintage, absolutely lovely, its a very pretty watch and will be pressed into daily service smile bought it today for a pretty attractive price from its original owner, January is a good month to buy nice watches right? Self Assesment.....

Here's my pics the just arrived Sinn Spacelab D1 140/2

Thanks to the previous owner for sending this previously quite beaten up watch to Sinn where they
1) refurbished and re-blasted the case;
2) completely overhauled the movement (new mainspring, various wheels, all the moving Delrin parts replaced etc);
3) fitted a new sapphire crystal;
4) replaced all crowns, pushers and gaskets;
5) replaced the hands as the lume was flaking;
6) replaced the internal bezel as the print was coming off;
7) fitted a new 142 dial as the lume was flaking (and also put a new 24-hour subdial hand on); and
8) supplied a new steel bracelet.

Nice to have a Lemania 5100 back in the collection - It's certainly my favourite chrono movement.

Very nice.

I think I'm just going to rename this thread "Incoming: What has Andy Tims bought now?"

Lovely. Infinitely preferable to a Daytona IMHO.

Just housekeeping gents, but this thread is way beyond the maximum size that we like to run with here, so I'm closing it and I've started a continuation thread here.
