I've seen that in many guises. I have a Deep Blue one on my 'to buy' list. What's it like ? Is it well put together ?
It is a lot of watch for the money. Better than I expected. It made me slightly annoyed that I went for the quartz instead of the auto - I was very much buying it as a disposable beater but the finish and feel is good enough that I should have gone mechanical and seen it as a keeper.Like the look of the Deep Blue version Bit pricier, but it seems to have slightly nicer detailing.

Wanted something very sublte, quite small and totally unassuming.
Plan went out the window and I have one of these incoming....
Eventually I will get hold of some Suppa strap adapters and throw it onto a nice aged brown leather strap similar to this...
All excited now

Please put up some wrist shots when you get it and add your wrist size or a second shot with another watch for size comparison, am worried it'll be too big for me.
A very, very unexpected one for me. Some of you may have read this post before:
I put the bracelet back on before taking the photo. One of the springbars failed resulting in the initial loss of the watch it would appear. The rubber seems to have been compressing on side of the springbar making it very easy to pop out.
Many Thanks Disney's Blizzard Beach. I wonder if it was found in one of their drain filters

Well, I get home from work yesterday and there is a FedEx box there waiting for me. Now I am not expecting any deliveries so I had absolutely no idea at all what it is. Can you imagine the surprise I got when I opened the box and this was inside:It was lost in Disney's Blizzard Beach Wave pool

I went for the Stainless version as I want to fit Suppa strap adaptors and these look very out of place on the Titanium version (suppa's are brushed stainless only). I might end up walking sideways for a few days but once I get used to the ballast sure I'll be back on track Please put up some wrist shots when you get it and add your wrist size or a second shot with another watch for size comparison, am worried it'll be too big for me.
It's a pretty huge beast of a watch (47mm, 18mm depp) but one of my favourite's in my collection is an Oakley Timetank... which is not exactly a shrinking violet.
Will take some shots alongside a Seiko Monster or some such.

Over half a year on and they still returned it, that's pretty cool. I wonder why it took so long to turn up? Glad you got it back Easty-5 said:

2 Months. I wrote the date in US format so as not to confuse them Still really impressed that they have actually sent it to me. I thought somebody would have been off with it. I spent a good 45mins searching the pool floor looking for it, and with it being on a bright orange rubber bracelet at the time shouldn't have been too hard to spot. It was nowhere to be seen so assumed somebody had pocketed it. It is still in perfect condition too other than a graze to one of the lugs. Sunglasses Ron said:

Citizen BJ-8050-08E Eco-drive 300m Professional Divers Watch, Otherwise known as the "Eco-Zilla"They also do a Titanium version (BJ8041-09E) and there is a very similar styled "Auto-Zilla" (NH6930-09FB NH6930)... but it's more than twice the price.
Something to keep in mind is that if you want to change the strap you must buy special aftermarket adaptors first. The watch is designed for the rubber strap and this is actually integrated into the case. It's easy to change out but nothing else will fit without the adapters (Some people like "Walts" but to my mind the "Suppa" adapters are 100times better)
Here is the site for the suppa strap adaptors so you can see just how integrated the rubber is and just how clever/well engineered these adaptors are....

Seen the adaptors on the titanium model and they just dont look right, hence going for the SS version.

excellent result, a compelling argument for NATO type straps, but great to get it back - cool.I put the bracelet back on before taking the photo. I decided that I need a daily beater so just bought a CASIO G-SHOCK XLARGE GA100-1A4 BLACK LIMITED WATCH.
I'm also on the lookout for a Breitling Superocean Heritage Chrono in either blue or black with both a leather and mesh strap. Anyone know of one for sale?

I have the deep blue on my wrist right now. Chunky, well put together. Had a minor drama with the band (lost a link after I dropped it from a first floor balcony onto cement - the fact that only a link from the band broke is testament to a decent build) and the watchshop I took it to put it in the safe thinking it was worth a lot more money.
Chunky, good value. Looks good.

Good point about the adaptors, hadn't thought about the colour match issue. Looks great, if you do get a chance to do a comparison shot with a monster that would be appreciated. It's a pretty huge beast of a watch (47mm, 18mm depp) but one of my favourite's in my collection is an Oakley Timetank... which is not exactly a shrinking violet.
