Um. Thing about a Nato is that you can have a weak spring bar. biggrin

Got my straps (Bond, Army Green and Black) yesterday and had a go at changing the bracelet on my SKX013, worked out pretty good! Love the colour combination on the Bond, suits the watch really great.

I agree that the NATO strap you've fitted to your Seiko in the photo looks great but it's not a Bond NATO; the Bond NATO is black with two silver stripes.

There a nice site about Bond watches, and how so many people think a bond strap is black and grey. It is such a common perception that even when Barbara Broccolli gave Daniel Craig an old Rolex it had the black and grey strap on.

The site also points out that Connery's watch strap was too narrow, and had a fabric loop, not metal ones.

I'll try and dig it out of the internet in the next day or so.

In fact, just looking at the pic above (is that from Thunderball) you can see the strap is too narrow. It's the only way to wear your old rolex.

- Haha, no need for apologies, it's just a consequence of spending to much time on pointless research paperbag
