Please recommend me a Nato strap for this, I'm unsure what would suit it due to it having a white face, and most on this thread are dark. I was thinking about a striped black/silver/orange one but now I'm not sure and am overanalysing it as usual.
Thanks
You can get white straps but they will go grubby very quickly. (Of course, it's a cinch to wash it - in a spare sock in a washing machine.)
Or just choose whatever colour you like. I sometimes wear my Help For Heroes strap and it's got awful colours.

Thanks, I did think orange, I would get white grubby very quickly I'd imagine. Maybe I should go for an orange and also a striped one, so I can alternate! I don't know why I am going mad with this watch, it was free and I'm only wearing it to work. Oh I know why, this forum makes you crazy! You can get white straps but they will go grubby very quickly. Natos are so cheap you might as well buy a bundle. I've got multiples in 18mm, 20mm and 22mm. That's what I like about them.
Now on black NATO.

I haven't worked out how much it changes per day, but I've only adjusted it 3 or 4 times in the 9 months I've had it. It runs a little fast and I adjust it when it gets a few minutes out.

Nice Steinhart. Looking at the lume, is it a limited edition? I've often thought Steinhart does a good diver; what's the time keeping like?
Thanks! It isn't a limited edition, it's an Ocean Vintage Military.luke111s said:

Holy thread resurrection etc...
I have a Sony Smartwatch 3 with a standard wrist strap adapter case instead of the all in one silicone strap. A while I got a grey/black striped (apparently not Bond ) NATO strap, and a brown leather NATO too. Bad phone pic below of the grey/black
Out of the two, I prefer the nylon one, the leather straps thickness is a bit too chunky. So I'd like to get some more nylon ones, and I like the look of the perlon braided weave straps, like this:
These also don't have the holes in the strap for the buckle, the pin goes through the weave in the strap.
The watch takes 24mm straps, I don't really mind on colour, but I think black buckle and rings would go better with the black watch than silver like I've got on the black/grey, especially if it was black on a bright colour.
So, where is good, where is bad, are the links in this thread that are a few years old now still good? There are some £2 ish ones on eBay, which seems a bit too cheap, and some £25 ones on Etsy, which seems ridiculous, something around £10 would be good.
As something different, there's also this 3D printed strap adapter part on shapeways.com http://www.shapeways.com/product/DPJ3JC5AF/sony-sm.... It's 3D printed plastic, so won't have a smooth finish unless its sanded down/polished/painted, but its available in colours that aren't black, and also 20mm and 22mm strap sizes as well as 24mm. I've almost bought one a few times, if I do it will probably be when they have a free shipping offer on again.
