yes. for working in, so if i scratch/crack it then it can go in the bin. i have a panerai luminor and an omega planet ocean, both of which work perfectly and look pretty damn good tbh. both were about 80 quid each from china, direct from a website. prob wont buy another, but purely for fact it does damage the real companies, but i wanted to see how good they were and what they looked like on the wrist.
the panerai is as close as dammit from the face view, altho an expert will spot the movement for what it is when you see the glass back, it does look a decent mechanical movement.
the planet ocean looks very close, and the strap is very good tbh. both are purely mechanical, the po is kinetic but the panerai needs winding .

i also have originals, this was purely a risky try to see what they looked like in the flesh and if they work, i could quite easily have been ripped off and got nothing back or something that lasted 2 minutes.

Yep, I got this in Vietnam, its not perfect, but its an auto and keeps fair time,if it ever breaks, it'll go in the bin as it only cost 25 bucks in the first place.

There was an identical watch for sale at the Goodwood FOS. One of the market traders was selling it for £180. He claimed it was a genuine Tag case and strap that had 'not quite passed quality control' at TAG. TAG then sell the cases to someone in China, who put different movements in them. After I stopped laughing, I politely declined. I did mention it to a chap on the TAG stand, but he was completely indifferent.

I had a fake breitling brought in thailand. Not to bad, looked ok and I imagine would still work to this day if i kept up to date with the battery replacements.

the fakes i got have been working perfectly tbh for at least a year, and would pass a close inspection, the company that sells them do copies of every major brand and style and unfortunately also sell boxes papers and serial nos for those who wish to take it to the next level, although why you would do so is beyond me with a 50-80quid fake. the website didnt look 100% secure, so we used a one off credit card, it wasnt ripped afterward suprisingly, but a work colleague who bought a similar replica from a different chinese company website had his card scammed within 3 days which tells you something.
they came thro customs marked as 2nd hand mechanical timepieces, which was funny. overall it was just a test to see how good the panerai copy looked in the flesh, as the website pics looked excellent, and to all intents the watch is an almost perfect luminor apart from the movement obviously. it would spur me on to purchase an original now having seen how it looks on the wrist, so at least in my case did a job.

yep- fake breitling from Malaysia- it was as close o my real breatiling as i could get.

like wearing a nice wathch, but don't like having that amount of cash hanging off my wrist all the time- some of the places i seem to end up are ccasionaly les than salubrious, so having something you can just lose without any qualms was really nice.

of course it was nowhere near as nice as the real thing, but it was just nice enough!
