I posted this in Wrist Check a week or so ago.

Current model Navitimer with the Breitling in-house B01 movement. It's accurate, has a 70 hour power reserve, a five year guarantee, and you can time your boiled eggs with it.

What's not to like?

I don't get them. Could the design be any more overdone and fussy? And huge?

They look like the watches for sale in tatty markets to me, always have.

That looks fantastic. If another manufacturer does a watch with a slide rule then I may consider another brand, but as far as I can tell they don't so I won't.

Rotary do, Sekonda do too, granted they are Navitimer homage watches.

For me they are too tall, too big, have arabics, over priced, and you can't time boiled eggs with one, as what would be the point? the eggs are done already !! smile
Gotta go now breakfast time, and I need to put some toast in the toaster, wink

One thing that Breitling are guaranteed to do, is bring out the generalist in people :

If anyone suggested ALL Rolexes are gold encrusted pimp wear, they'd be rightly laughed out of the forum, but people seem more than happy for the ill-informed/prejudiced to tar all Breitlings with the same brush.

I love some of their designs, like others and find some downright offensive, pretty much the same way I feel about most other watch brands in different proportions.

As for size, if you feel 38mm is HUGE, then I can only assume you like wearing ladies watches...

Well said there! beer

As an owner of the blue faced superocean heritage I can confirm that they are the most noticed watch in my collection and one of the least 'fussy' or 'blingy' watches around. All for under £3.5k! Just bought myself a Tudor Pelagos this morning (couldn't resist!) partly because it is as blingy as the Superocean! Dornbluth on order, which, as it happens, looks much like the hugely blingy watch shown above (and some £1000 less than the Breitling! Totally hand made by Kirk Dornbluth and his team and personalised if you require) Crackin'

Here's mine: I think its lovely. For my tastes the modern models are not as pretty.
