I think some people on here are in danger of disappearing up their own arse with their hilarious notions of image and concern with what other people wear on their wrists. Wear what you like and don't give a toss what other's might think about you.

It's a brand of watch. Wearing one doesn't make you X type of person. My view on Breitling is SS Navitimers are iconic but very busy watches, some of the newer blingy by bently ones are a bit fugly.

As an aside, My colleague went to an airshow last year, he was invited inside the Breitling tent when they saw his (rather large) Breitling B2. He spent a pleasant afternoon in their VIP tent chatting to the red arrows he didn't mention seeing people who watch TOWIE or drive range rover sports. hehe

Nice touch from Breitling, I thought.

The Breitling however, fails on 2 counts. 1: It aspires to be a 'Hublot' or some other fussy design, but looks a cheap imitation.
Hublot founded 1980
Breitling founded 1884

I'm not sure they're in the business of simply trying to copy Hublot?

I've just bought another one - a Chronomat from the late 90's on a Rouleaux. I'm just off to put down a deposit on a RRS: this one is a bit bling-tastic.

Ha this is brilliant...

Seen as we are making massive sweeping comments about watche brands... Whenever I see a rolex I always think 'probably fake' seen as there us more fakes in circulation that real ones.

I bought mine so I could dive with it and smash it against things offshore at work without even making a mark on it.

I think it was the Brietling Bentley that brought the Brand to the forefront of bling,a watch that I detest. I love my SOH Chrono. Oh and by the way I drive an Astravan and an Audi A1 tdi, no Bentley in my garage. I think his theory is down the pan

I liked this when I had it

and I'd like the smallest version of the Black Steel

and some of the vintage stuff is really nice, but on the whole I'm ambivalent at best to their current / recent products.

If its good enough for john travolta It's good enough for me...

I've got an 'air race' on leather and a '69'top time chrono. I don't have a RRS and I'm as in TOWIE as you'll ever find. I know what I like and I like what I've bought.

If you don't I've my watch.... Am I bovvered?

I have a breitling bentley 6.75 and while I love the way it looks, its been back to the manufacturers 3 times (once my fault) and its still not really sorted. Once I sent it back I was told it will be a long time because the whole of breitling closes for summer, rather annoying for a huge multi national luxury goods company! I find the power reserve to be terrible, less then 24 hours. I do like them, but as has been said, they really are jumped up ETA watches, I'd buy another one, but probably a quartz so that I can give it a bit of a beating, this one I feel is a little delicate.

What's an ETA watch then? A watch that only lets you estimate the time? hehe
