Casio Ae1200-WH. Really like it, light and comfortable with the right amount of geek factor.

I've got to give it to Mont Blanc. They're done well making some very nice watches over the years.

Why do people find Beretta SO hard to spell right (not JUST here either)?

RELOX or OMAGA (even SIEKO) would have the people here in apoplexy and yet Beretta's a much older company than any of the big watch brands...

Perhaps because fewer people own guns? I didn't feel it necessary to correct the questioner because it is a name that isn't that common.

Anyway, back to watches. Steinhart will be my shooting watch - black and waterproof.

I know really, but you often see it misspelt on the web, even in books, it just amuses me that it seems such a challenge for so many people.

It doesn't matter, but it's funny that a fairly simple name gets misspelt so often. smile

Wearing this old Hamilton diver today after picking up up from my local watchmaker, it had a cracked ruby under the balance staff, but now it's all working fine.
It's a bit of a rare old beast and seems to be from the Pan Europ family of watches.
I normally hate colour coded straps, but I had this NATO in the drawer and it sort of goes until I put it on a bracelet tomorrow.

Me too.

We don't see much old American stuff here and I'm presuming that this was from an era when Hamilton were just that and not part of any larger conglomerate. Great contribution yes

It's an American that's Swiss made though!

As part of the Swatch group?

I thought that the older Hamiltons were all American?

As far as I'm aware most of the old Hamiltons are Swiss made, but all the company paper work give American addresses. My one has an ETA movement, says Swiss made at the bottom of the dial and, I think, dates to approx 1972/3.
