Do you have a link to the exact watch? Have they sold out?
I see, yes, looks like Creation have sold out. If you do a web search for SNZH55K1 which is the model number, a few websites pop up, including ebay and Amazon, but a quick look suggests prices have risen.

Until the novelty wears off, I shall be wearing this.

I had buyers blues yesterday, so I was sulking, I feel better now and I have removed the plastics so its a wearer.

First impressions are very good for only £52, heavy ish and seems to keep good time (only been a few hours yet though!)

Nice watch. Sadly, I just can't abide a cyclops...

1941 Jaeger-LeCoultre

All original and untouched - right down to the celluloid crystal which has yellowed but in a way that enhances the patina of the dial and hands....I love this watch.

There are ways of removing them if you hate them that much!

Don't those ways tend to boil down to "hit it with a hammer and chisel"?

Got this back out for the first time in ages, an old gold Sub...

(yep, too lazy to change the date as it's a 'non-quick')

Nope; it can be heated with a 'jet' type lighter and then flicked off once the bonding resin melts.
Personally I'd have no problem in buying a watch with one and removing the cyclops, but I'd just replace it with a flat sapphire and keep the original.

After all, what could possibly go wrong?

Certainly an option. That said, my favourite Rolex is the Milgauss.

I've never seen any mention of anyone cocking it up (not that I'm suggesting it's impossible), but I wouldn't be worried about doing it.
It's a better solution than the bloody cyclops anyway!

I agree. Don't normally go for that kind of look, it's not particularly subtle, and I don't know if I'd have the balls to wear it, but still....
