Today is a good day. I've been squirreling away money towards my current grail for a few months now (116610LN Ceramic Sub), and although I wasn't planning on actually making the purchase now (merely dropping in to enquire about the current waiting time), I just couldn't say no when I saw one in the window at an AD today. Apparantly only put on display the day before as the person who ordered it couldn't get their 0% finance approved. I thought it best I snap it up as an early birthday pressie for myself!

Chuffed, to say the least!

They appear to have different typefaces.

The various Amvox models seem to have both typefaces - maybe it's a subtle change between production years?

I had this for my birthday off my brother.

I haven't got a dress type watch, i only have a seiko diver, so i was rather pleased, i think it looks really smart.

6:49 wink The sub-dial at 6 is minutes, not seconds.

Oh that makes sense. I thought it was seconds and was trying to work out the minutes from the outer dial then realised that's the date.

My eBay bargain Seiko with an eBay bargain NATO will be on my wrist until the Breitling comes back from the AD with a new battery that costs nearly 4 times what the Seiko and strap cost!

I had a blue quartz one of these. Only got rid of it as I was upgrading. The blue dial was lovely.

My current wrist shot

I've got the same sub, fine choice! I have a tag aqua racer in the same blue/gold bi metal combo that was a birthday present many moons ago from my folks which I couldn't bring myself to sell when I got the sub - ill do a shot of both later on.

If I didn't have the Exp 2 this would be another one on the list. Well it is on the list lol but just a bit further down.

I've been undecided for ages on which one I wanted. I still want a traditional Sub and would love a DJ but after randomly trying the TT on I fell in love and have been after one for a while now. It is a tad bling for my office but I'm sure we'll all get used to it. hehe

I think I know which Tag you mean. A guy in my old office has one of those amongst his collection. The guy has a Daytona but seems to opt for the Tag more as it was the first nice watch he ever bought.
