Sorry to hear about your Dad.
I wouldn't get one on a leather strap if you want it to last. A guy i work with got the orange strap and the top layer of the leather peeled off.
nice watch though.

Im wearing a 1000m titanium today and despite its massive size (44mm x 16mm) it only weighs 135 grammes! For comparison a Tissot PR100 automatic diver which measures 38mm and is dwarfed by the Oris weighs 135g too. The extremely discrete Rolex that I wore yesterday weighs 65 grammes and that includes a 19mm heavy folded Oyster bracelet!

I dont think that its just a stainless model. Im enthusiastic about all Oris dives.
Does yours have a plain or a 'wave' dial?

Did you keep the metal strap? I know that people love nylon / Nato straps on here, but to my mind it looked better on the original sellers strap.
