Still loving this, but have it on the bracelet now that we're getting warmer days.

No it was fine. The strap is quite soft so it went on easy and doesn't look daft. Don't know if it's putting extra pressure on the spring bars though.

Did you manage to get seiko fat spring bars to fit your Hirsch extreme?

Currently wearing this whilst my Emergency Mission is being pampered at BUK... must say that I really love the way it wears.

When you say the bars fall out do you mean from the lugs of the watch when supposedly in place or when the strap is off the watch? I'm hoping that fat bars will squeeze into a hirsch as I've read that smaller bar ends will gradually damage the watch lug holes as it moves about. The internet reveals conflicting views as to whether a hirsch extreme will take fat spring bars though so have yet to take the plunge and buy one.

The spring bars fall out of the ends when the strap is off of the watch, they're perfectly secure when on. Can't see the issue with the watch lugs being damaged by spring bars, pretty sure that the tips of all spring bars are the same, it's only the thickness of the centre section that varies.

if u listen to 'experts' on other forums they will say that the lug holes can get enlarged over time if fat bars are not used. Apparently regular spring bars are 0.8mm at the end compared to 1.1mm on seiko fat bars. I just wonder if this small differnce really can damage the lug holes.
Bar centres vary between 1.5, 1.8 and 2.5(seiko fat).
anyway your pic has made my mind up that i'll invest in a hirsch extreme. Who did your DLC'ing?
