If anyone here is thinking about flipping a spork srp043 anytime soon drop me a message....think I might like to add one to the collection.
I just picked one up last week.... Was described as a 'special edition monster' so I got it at about half the going rate! I've just put it on a cheapy rubber strap as the bracelet is a bit much for my taste.....9000rpm said:
I have found a dutch coleague at work who is now helping contact the seller and translate what he is saying so I might be in luck! cheers :-)
Good stuff – the site looks like a Dutch version of craigslist or gumtree. So long as you and the seller agree to use Paypal (with fees paid/deducted) then you should have no problem with doing a deal.

Just pushed the button on my new "holiday watch" - an SKX009 diver. Just need to replace the rubber strap with a suitable NATO. Suggestions?
A worthy choice, Sir. I ordered mine on Sunday, arrived on Thursday. Superb service. I still can't quite understand how a Day/Date automatic divers watch, rated to 200m depth, can be delivered by air freight from the other side of the world and then by courier van to my door for £120. The watch really must be manufactured for the cost of a bowl of rice ! Edited by DH01 on Saturday 28th June 08:45
As mentioned above, this one was from circ 1977.
I had taken the battery out 10 years ago as had moved onto other Swiss brands.
Google was my buddy and did a little research. Found a Japanese catalogue from 1977' with this near match enclosed.
So, went off to my local Jewlers and treated it to a new battery. Fired into action, and works a treat.
Must now wear it of course....

My work watch, a Seiko SKX031 with an aftermarket solid link bracelet.
The bracelet came from a Canadian ebay seller & is a very nice upgrade.
Have an Omega Seamaster Professional as my home watch, and the folded link bracelet felt cheap in comparison. This was a nice £45 upgrade that brings the Seiko much closer to the feel of the Omega on the wrist.
