There was one of these on TZ recently, I considered it when it reached its eventual asking price to run alongside my SBGA003.

Lovely thumbup
This one ... wink

I was fighting against it as soon as it was posted, but eventually I couldn't resist any longer.

Several watches for sale at the moment which are very tempting indeed.

Picked this one up on the weekend. Its a big chunk of stainless steel with a bracelet design I haven't seen on any other Seiko chrono.

Best of all it cost me 99 quid. Absolute steal at that price.

really like that, so I looked at it on the day, pondered it, went back next day, nearly bought it and somehow managed to order an Orient Ray instead laugh Thing is, I reckon it's a bit too similar under the skin to my SNZH53 (not my pic below). Cheap enough to buy the SZZF17 as well in future, anyway smile

I keep seeing these. I feel this will be my next watch purchase.

For something so reasonably priced it looks fantastic and completely belies it's price tag.
Oh dear. Oh dear. Do want.

Do we reckon that this creation listing is this watch and it's a wrong photo/crap colour balance?

D'oh, should have thought of that! Seems it's quite common for it to come out almost-black in photos. Come on payday....

That is the exact model I bought (the price varies up and down a little with the exchange rate; I paid £91). It is definitely the blue one but it is darker in the flesh than the photo above; I believe the J model, which is sold out, is a slightly lighter blue.

Basically, if you buy the one in your link expecting it to be like the photo you might be surprised. But it is still rather lovely in a darker blue hue. Here's a more true to life pic:

Yes, it's the right watch (no longer made, I believe), but I think the picture still looks a bit dark (and a BROWN strap?!?!?!).

Here's mine (before it turned into a Fifty Five Fathoms mod)

That's also not mine, so please ignore the strap laugh

I think your pic, while clearly being of the same watch, misrepresents how blue it is in most conditions. Nobody will be shining a flash at it all the time on the wrist.

I have one of these blue Seikos as new only worn twice, literally no marks on it anywhere, which I will be selling if anyone fancies one. PM me if interested. They are lovely but a new purchase is beckoning.

Not my pic, but I've just acquired this modified SKX. For me it is the perfect adaptation of the model.

Ah yes, I saw that on TZ. Looks lovely.
What is TZ and how do I get a watch like that ????

I've only just started wearing a watch after 20 or so years without one. I saw a titanium seiko in a jewelers and just had to have it. I now spend my time looking at threads like this smile

That's a modified SKX007 with a smooth/machined bezel - it's not available off the shelf but one of the mod guys will take your hard earned and pick an SKX007 up for you, mod it and ship it out to you.

Yeah, you've a point, it's not THAT bright (I couldn't find a daylight shot in that configuration), but it certainly doesn't look Navy (or almost black) as some have suggested.

Since I'm wearing mine today, I thought I'd take a photo without a flash. I'd say that it's definitely navy, almost black (though next to a black watch it's clearly blue):

Mine's similar to the above: black & gold one (SNZH57) bought earlier in the year; came from California via Amazon, currently my daily & first Seiko - very impressed so far. Cost me £114 but I've seen it listed cheaper since.

Vintage 1987 Seiko 7A38. Still keeping accurate time. I bought this Brand new from my moms Kay's catalogue. Remember those!
