Let's see your Seikos!
Discussion
I have barely worn any other watch since getting my SNZH53 in January. The initially squeaky bracelet wore in quickly and became silent; it always felt decently made.
Ridiculous value. I did want a black one too but I can't see the point. Think I'll only change it for something grail-like, but I can't see the value in watches at 4-figures.

That's very funny! I bought one of these off Amazon a few weeks ago so there was no need to worry about tax. Replaced the steel with a a blue leather strap and am happy with the result.
Great timing, I've actually just been looking at some leather straps online with a view to getting one.Quite like the look of this Hirshch one, although it's 2/3rds of the cost of the watch!
This Rally one (the dark blue) is probably more in keeping with the cost at about 12 quid

I got a Brady sailcloth strap in blue for mine (about £28 inc delivery from the U.S.) but I've never fitted it. I find the bracelet its on so comfortable it swayed me away from straps.
I don't dislike the bracelet, in fact it's better than I expected given some reports I'd read.Just would be nice to have another option.
I like the look of that one you mentioned

Picked this one up over the weekend.
Stainless steel with rose gold detailing plus a sapphire crystal with a sunburst dial. Quite a striking looking watch in the flesh.
That's not a sunburst dial – it's guilloché.Stainless steel with rose gold detailing plus a sapphire crystal with a sunburst dial. Quite a striking looking watch in the flesh.
This is what a sunburst dial looks like.

Thanks for the correction. Out of interest what would the cocktail time dial be?This is what a sunburst dial looks like.
Still a sunburst design.
The traditional fine lines are as the photo I linked of the watch reviewed.
The Swiss/German/English brands of yore, never did anything like what Seiko have, to my knowledge, so it's just a variation on the sunburst style, and not something for which there is an applicable French word.
