For comparison, here's a real one... hehe

Looks like the new ones are a proper 'heritage' version, plot/chapter ring alignment issues an' all!

Was reading that thread this morning. I'd still like to get a black one once the fuss has died down.

6138 "UFO" arrived on Friday. Been looking for one for a while now.
Really pleased with it.

Just picked up a SNKL07 for £60, fancied a day/date and very much drawn to the dial colour. It looks almost black until the light hits it.

Only a quick pic from the mobile for now.

LOL - sporting the sockless look, if only I had the black Daytona (car, not the watch)

All sorted with new dial, hands and sapphire. Cocked it up first time round so ordered a few new bits. But happy I've done it all myself and learnt for the next one!

Does anyone have a "FFF" modded Seiko? Who did the mods for you?
Pic for reference.

I've seen those, hence the 'want' however at about £100 for the watch and maybe £50 for the parts, it could be done to your own spec for a few quid less, and still be unique.

Does anyone own an Astron? Interested to see some pics/ thoughts on it. Thinking of picking up an SBXA005 on our annual trip to Japan in May.

Almost bought one last year but decided against it and now regret it as the exchanged rate is less favourable.

Not the best photo I've ever taken of a watch, but I this arrived on Saturday and I thought this thread could do with reviving.

The well known SARB017 Alpinist - I've been intending to get one for a few years but for some reason never did (the prices always seemed to go up slightly whenever I thought about it). Finally bought from an EU supplier (so no duty risks) using the 20% off eBay code from a week or so ago. I put it straight on a Hirsch Liberty which I bought intending to use it for exactly this watch back in 2013 laugh

Probably not the right choice to wear with suit and tie but I like it so much I'm going to ignore that for a week or two wink

Hoover.
