Here's my navitimer world with some of its friends, sadly the tissot and omega are no longer there, ( hopefully being replaced by a B&R 02-92 if i can find one ), and the g-shock lives up the right way now.
The Navitmer is lovely and glad the riseman is the right way up now wink that lump of gold could easily be a new watch with scrap prices the way they are biggrin

Those hands aren't that much pinker than the ones on mine, which also dates from ~1970. I wouldn't doubt it's original.
The Breitling Museum may be interested in that if you wanted to move it on?

It was an engagement present from my wife, but I'll mention the idea and see what she thinks biggrin. If you have their contact details could you pass them along please?

I'm not sure I should give you any more details, for your own safety!

Just as a question what time zone do you have the co-pilot set to?

For those not in the know they are usually set to GMT/UTC but the Breitling B-1 already has 3 time zones; T-1, T-2 and UTC.

Best in black like you have though, makes the display windows disappear more than the other colour faces.

The only disappointing thing is how easily the strap gets scratched

Well this is a first for me, never owned a brietling before, infact its the one brand I particularly disliked, I suppose due to overexposure & maybe a certain amount of 'blingness'
But seems I have to eat humble pie as I fell for one.....big booger at 49mm, but liking the bronze retro thing with it....

It's set to UTC... 24hr dial is a bit weird to get used to, though.

It is just as comfortable with the UTC as with the standard fighter bracelet... can't tell any difference in the weight. Not sure if there's even anything in it.

And if it's your daily watch the battery only lasts 3 years (£100) and needs a service every 6 years (£260).
