Just bough a SuperOcean Heritage 42mm, had wanted one for ages and a ten day old one popped up on TZ that I did a deal on, am very happy ... smile

Have also just received an Ocean Racer three hole strap for it as was my preference, not keen on the mesh straps so haven't gone out for one of those.

Finally arrived all the way from America B for B Motors T speed bracelet (the mk1 version) £400 all inc. and that also counts the rip off £74 import tax! Gonna be at my local Breitling stockist to have the fit for me as it's not easy without the correct tools.

I am one happy lad!

Done it thanks to Ian at my GoldSmiths in Milton Keynes. Speed bracelet fitted and best strap ever, love the brushed and polished effect. Now just to get Breitling to issue my new insurance certificate.

Cheers Niel.

I should be in Kent soon enough (Sevenoaks) so I may use the opportunity to drop my B for B off as they require it back to issue the new cert with the speed bracelet which is fine. I may ask them to kindly just polish the clasp only on it as thats the only part which has marking.

Hopefully they'll kindly do it, if not I may have to pull out my pics with David Beckham wink... always does well for me.

What's the technique for telling how many minutes past the hour it is with a quick glance after someone asks you?

The minutes hand is just the same a normal 12 hr watch. It can take a little time to get used to reading the hours on the 24hr dial, but once it clicks it is very easy.

Not sure yet if this will replace the Superocean as a daily.

That is lovely but I'm sure they could have squeezed a few more numbers in there wink

So is the time in the picture 16:11?
