Just bought my first watch, A Transocean Chronograph, black dial, Steel case, Ocean Classic strap biggrin

Would love to share a picture, however it's arrived back home and I'm working away for the weekend!

Sorry for the poor quality, the missus sent the pictures over facebook!

And yes, it still has the protective film on, at least until I get my mitts on it. smile

That is beautiful. Not usually a Breitling fan, but that really does tick all the boxes. Quite similar to the SuperOcean Heritage (though hardly a negative - another watch I've got my eye on come the lottery win).

New daily:

What's the technique for telling how many minutes past the hour it is with a quick glance after someone asks you?
The minutes hand is just the same a normal 12 hr watch. It can take a little time to get used to reading the hours on the 24hr dial, but once it clicks it is very easy.
So is the time in the picture 16:11?
Yes. It's quite easy once you get the hang of it smile

That's beautiful. I had to be dragged out of the Breitling store in the Mall at Millenia a couple of weeks ago. I only went in to drool and the lady convinced me to try on a stunning Chronomat 44 with the grey face. If she's a PHer then I'm sorry for wasting your time!

Enjoy the watch.

Apologies for hijacking this thread. I'm off to look at in the flesh (with a view to buying) an Avenger II Seawolf tomorrow.

Any current/ previous owners able to offer any info on what this watch is like to wear regularly?

I wear my Ti Seawolf daily and it is a big watch but love it. They are steel now a bit heavier.

Some real Breitling haters here but the Seawolf is a hell of a thing (the auto non chrono version)

I like brushed finish steel version but my favourite is the Ti or the black steel (I have one for sale with a dealer)

I also prefer the old version because I think the white numerals look better than the silver!

The size thing is actually more about the thickness of the case rather than the diameter I think (45mm / 17mm???) though I think the Seawolf Avenger 2 is slightly slimmer

The haters REALLY hate don't they, funny because when I really hate something I don't bother looking at it!

Good for you, congratulations!

Apparently you can get adjustable cufflinks somewhere if you have trouble with cuffs etc

I know the car / watch thing is a touchy subject but the Seawolf is a G Wagen to me!

Have owned my latest purchase for 2 weeks now and still love it. Think that the yellow, silver and brushed steel are a great combination and the size isn't (too) prohibitive as a daily wearer.
