Have owned my latest purchase for 2 weeks now and still love it. Think that the yellow, silver and brushed steel are a great combination and the size isn't (too) prohibitive as a daily wearer.

Very nice, quite fancy a yellow B

A couple of years old now but still great on. Admittedly not worn as much as I should and have thought about selling.

Love the UTC looks great on the Aerospace. I miss my Aerospace but do prefer an automatic to Quartz now.

Thinking of getting a Breitling but what a choice of models. Which is the classic Breitling model and do they hold their value?

I've had this Shark for 20 years. My other watches are IWCs.

I had one of those... It got stolen just before my wedding last year...

I really miss it.

So much so I think I might have said that before.

I think the classic Breitling is a Navitimer, not sure on second hand values though.

I'm another Avenger Seawolf owner. Mine's one of the titanium models with a black face. It's currently back at Breitling for servicing and refurbishment but will post pictures when it comes back.

I don't find the diameter of the watch to be a problem, but its thickness does make it awkward with shirt cuffs. It's definitely not a dress piece, though I've worn it with suits on a few occasions.

The Seawolf isn't a light watch, even in titanium. Mine came on a bracelet, but I found it more comfortable when I swapped it onto a rubber strap. It's pretty tough too, due to it being an enormous lump of metal.

That said, I'm planning on selling it, hence the refurbishment, as I'm getting one of the new Geophysics.

Nice don't see many of those. I'm thinking of some black leather action for my B.

It should have had the UTC option, but I ordered it without.

The strap only seems to last for two to three years of occasional use before it starts to breakdown. Is this normal?

Not had leather on mine, I've got a diver pro 3 on it and that seems to wear well. There are a lot of secondhand leather Breitling straps on eBay and some do appear quite shabby.

I agree, very nice.

On a different note, my Christmas present shopping trip at the weekend didn't quite go to plan... I'm now having to resist wearing my latest purchase until Christmas Day
