Hi I know nothing about Breitlings

Could you tell me the size and the exact model number? It looks really fantastic, do you use it as a daily wearer and find it heavy on the wrist at all?

What's the RRP on these and do Breitlings hold their value?

Do you know anything about the internet? For example how to search for really basic information?

Price 16 years ago less than price today ( and thats a crap one ) , i've a few Breitling's that cost more now than when purchased new.

Depends on model and price you paid new , rather than a flat *NO* - unless you were being sarcastic ? - i'd say the newer stuff don't hold value too well, but then again in 10 years time who knows.

It's a GMT Chronomat 47mm

Found one here for £7360

And as to holding their value not many things do IMO

Calm down. The only information I could see was a post from JDIZ saying "grey face seawolf" which had no hits. Plus I had some questions on the weight of the watch and possible falls in value which is not something Google will easily show.

This what a forum is about, sharing of opinions/ideas/experience.

Thanks. It's a fantastic looking watch but a bit too steep for me. I already have an SS Planet Ocean and wanted another SS watch but will probably stick with the the PO for now.

If the prices held, then I might consider getting both as both investment AND enjoyment but I can't quite justify the price if it will drop substantially in value should I need to offload quickly

Looks very classy but understated though, great choice.

ATV, have you thought about going down the 'pre-loved' route?

If you buy from somewhere like Watches of Switzerland then the watch will look brand new, likely to be fresh from a manufacturer service and will have 2 years W of S warranty included.

Obviously, they need to have a watch that you like but there are great savings to be made.

Love my Breitling. Some say too big and brash, but still love it.

Hi Neil. Yellow wouldn't suit all watches, but in the Breitling it's amazing.

Saw my first yellow B when Gordon Ramsey wore one on tele years ago, liked them ever since smile

Had a yellow seiko a while back but sold it for a profit because it was tiny.

Gordon FFFFFFFFFF Ramsey. smile. I seem to remember that one as well, there's been a few 'celebrities' over the years wearing Yellow B's.

Thanks , that straps fitted to the new Avengers ( i was told ) and was a right pain to get hold of.. , there is also a rather nice Military style webbing strap that i've seen on some of the new Avengers ( was looking to buy one for my Super Avenger BlackSteel ) black with red sides.

Felt the cost was a bit of a ripoff... but they are very well made.
