Very nice, so is time 1745?
16:45 last Tuesday!

(This thread reminded me that my Cosmonaute hadn't been serviced for 10 years, so took it into a dealer at lunchtime . . . a real "how much??" moment . . .)

They take a bit of getting used to, and people saying your watch is wrong.

A holiday purchase last year, saved a fair bit on the price back here.

Great to see these lovely Breitlings, my favourite watch brand. I've been considering adding to my collection and looking at these pics gives me a few ideas .... need CEO (wife's) approval first though!

Thanks. They make a nice chance from the weight and thickness of the automatic watches but the strap on this could do with softening up a bit, wear it more often I suppose...

I've a SuperOcean II as well with a stainless strap and I do find that easier to wear, it fits spot on.

Does your SuperOcean have the Milanese strap?

No, just the standard linked one.

I only have one Breitling left now and even that's for sale (no I'm not fishing) I've just gradually fallen out of love with them, I still really like a couple of models and I like seeing other people's Breitlings!

Neilbauer yours is genuinely my favourite model at any price, particularly with the option of that new bracelet or rubber strap!

Probably wouldn't suit a calf strap so much but any of the rubber options and even the kevlar straps would look great!

I know, it got a bit out of control!

I've just kept the others rather than replaced them with anything, so it's mostly Rolex, Bremont, the Pelagos and that Zenith you hated! (Also going)

Thanks for that.

I saw one with the Milanese and wasn't so sure about it ... my wife liked it though (what I call "progress" lol) ... when I tried it on it looked good. My Breitling has the SS bracelet which I like, durable, easy to wear.

Hi, it's a bit of an oddball, it's a Chrono Avenger 69 (Ltd Edition of 600) and has a mecha-quartz movement!

I think a combination of things, some are hard to wear with a T shirt because some attract a lot of attention, some are impossible to wear under a shirt cuff (I have lots of destroyed inner cuffs from rider tabs) I found myself unconciously gravitating towards the other watches instead, I also justified buying other watches by promising myself that I would sell my least favourites, those happened to be Breitlings!

Personally I'm not mad about what they've made for quite a while either

The Zenith with the stars on the bezel no wasn't a fan but the Pelagos that's a different story. If Mrs B lets me get another watch that's what it'll be, saying that she did get a nice Nite Hawk stealth for Christmas which I was very happy with smile

Yep, there logo has a star!

The Pelagos is great but sometimes people find it a bit "sterile" but that's the "tool watch" vibe of it, have you seen the Pelagos LHD? It's interesting, it's not technically a Ltd Ed but a numbered watch, aside from that it's interesting and arguably better looking!
