It could be,
You need to get some better photos.
You need to see the back of the watch.

They are £23,50 over here in China if you want a few '

And look exactly like that one.

No idea but looking at the ridges on the crown I'd ask for my money back.

(not a watch expert)

Maybe I'm super cynical, but every time I see a sob story on E-Bay about some family member or other, I immediately smell a rat. That coupled with the convenient lack of papers would have me running a mile from bidding on this.

I also concur with the above, sob story etc. Anybody buying a watch like that even a novice would hang on to the box

I would guess that not all bidders are genuine?

Looks very fake. The UPH bezel should have the 60 at top dead centre, not offset. The quality of the number stamping on the bezel looks poor. And the crown and pushers are not as the original watch. The fit of the "shoulder" piece between the lugs also looks second-rate. Given all the other suspicious factors, I would avoid.

Yep, clasp is marked 62523 which is the Rolex part reference for a steel and gold Jubilee bracelet not a steel Oyster.

The watch is described as a ref 116520, and then confirmed as having a Zenith movement!? This fake is intended to resemble a 16520 Rolex Daytona.

Avoid like the plague.

For £2,250.00 someone will only get trapped by their greed.

" i have had it checked and everything is as it should be."

Oh. OK. Here's my £2,250.

laugh

(PS: Solid end links look faker than a fakir's fake and the "laser etched" Rolex crown is too big and too legible)

Run Forrest. Run.

i might report it, hopefully its a scammer buying it at 2.2k and they can both stitch each other up. I have a legit 114060 and you cant really see the engraved crown on the glass at all unless the light is perfect. Hope no one losses their shirt on this !!
