It's all your fault on here. Had me swooning for too long! Anyway, one thing led to another on Friday night & next thing you know, the friendly people in Omega wooed me with just one cup of tea & I'm the proud owner of this.
That's beautiful. What model number is it?Edited by stuttgartsfinest on Monday 19th November 16:40

Oh and it's a rubber strap with orange stitching. I think they do a croc leather one as well.

Sorry to spoil the party, but here's my Steel/Gold Constellation:
Yes it has the yellow stuff and it is very different to the rest of the watches in my collection. More of a formal wear watch.
I got it on the birth of my baby daughter. Every time I wear it, it puts a smile on my face. And that is what it is all about...
Will never part with it.
Two tone Constellation, my favourite Omega. I had one with diamond markers and loved it till it wentYes it has the yellow stuff and it is very different to the rest of the watches in my collection. More of a formal wear watch.

wrong. Was told it would never run properly so I spent a year looking for another one. Just couldnt find a pre owned one anywhere. In the end I bought a 69 bi metal Rolex datejust, but still prefer the Omega looks wise.
Here is mine...bought a few months ago from a well known auction site... I am not entirely convinced about the provenance of this one...but thanks to the good advice on this forum, I was able to get it repaired & serviced and it is fine now ! It may be a 'bitza' as it seems to have a Cosmic case but not a Cosmic dial. The movement etc is all genuine Omega, which was a relief (!!).
It is a 'top loader' where the movement is removed from the top, and there are only a few specialists who can repair these it seems. The crystal has to be removed using a special tool as it is held in place with a unique gasket; these gaskets are virtually unobtainable now, so I am thankful that it was repaired properly. The watch is from 70's/80's but not sure about the date of manufacture. It gets worn much more than my new Sinn 556 !

I had a tough choice choosing between the orange bezel and the grey. Decided on the orange in the end but think I may buy the grey bezel too. I fancy the black rubber strap with the orange stitching too. That way it's like 4 watches in 1! Or that's what I can use to justify it George29 said:
