Seamaster AquaTerra.

Came on a bracelet, but wears more nicely on leather.

I think he bought it much later but I have no idea when.

]It was the only thing he ever splashed out on apart from an Alfa Guilia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfa_Romeo_Giulia (ala "Italian Job" police car), which disintegrated all by itself . The watch remains though. I took it to the Gulf and the Falklands while I was in the RAF. I managed to bend the winder in Bahrain so it went back to Omega for a refurb and came back with new glass and looking like new for £80!

Thanks, that's 12 years of every day use for you. I've yet to see another "in the wild" and we have 3 in this thread so far. Good to see. smile

1952 Seamaster. Bought it a couple of years before my dad's 60th and gave it to him last year. Hoping I'll get it back eventually...

Been slightly replaced by a GMT2 but I still love it's looks
I have had this exact watch for over 10 years now (21st bday present).

Love it to pieces and will never change it.

I think that's my favourite watch of the whole thread. Lovely dome to the crystal/glass.
