I think my threshold for vulgarity is quite low and don't think that qualifies. Can't comment on your personal level of vulgarity, but as for the watch - it's just on the right side of a Franck Muller.

As for being banned from further purchases....doesn't she understand that you're sick? This watch thing is an illness dammit!
your correct it is an illness...poor old Yeti has it real bad !!............and, how very dare you mention the "Franck Muller" name in the company of my very fine time piece !!!

arrived in this morning.........very chunky and masculine for a VC smile

It wears smaller on the wrist than the picture
No double-cuff shirt? You disappoint me Michael.

yikes

Still, a nice watch and rather understated by your usual standard!

Funny you should mention that, but I own only 2 shirts that are not double cuff and that's one of them......all my watches are understated ........i have now sold my Rolex ........I'm having an image makeover smile

My contribution. The wife bought it for me as a delayed wedding present - Seamaster chronograph with the black face. Had wanted one for years and came as a bit of a shock when I got the ok. Thing of beauty and can't ever see me parting with it. Though one day I'm hoping it will be joined by my grail watch, the eponymous Daytona.

Bought this today for €8.49 kinda expensive when you consider my phone also tells the time. The impulse of it all.

Ooh. An auto one of them is very high up on the want list for me. There's something about the pre-Tags that I just love.

Bremont MB II. I'd not seen one of these up close so called into Beaverbrooks this afternoon. I liked what I saw & was suitably impressed that I bought it. They really do feel like quality pieces & the finish & detailing are perfect. I had a look at both the orange & green cases & plumped for the orange. No haggling with the price but I have got a complimentary service when the time comes, so I'm happy enough.

I'm not a massive modern Omega fan either but I think the Aqua Terra is quite subtle and classy, particularly the older models.

Due to an extreme re-jigging of the collection for an October grail, this has arrived. Yes, I'm supposed to be selling not buying but this will be a great replacement for my Rolex Deepsea, absurd water resistance and insane depth rating smile

So if anyone wants a Deepsea for a smidge over 5k... wink
